Apple Watch 2’ will have more Advanced Features - Faster GPS, Barometer, Better Waterproofing


Apple is expected to release its two Apple Watch versions. One Apple Watch will be launched with a slighter update over current models and Apple Watch 2 will come with GPS, barometer and much more features inside. KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said.


Apple is preparing to launch two versions of Apple Watch in the coming months, both of the versions will offer moderate enhancements over existing models. The first update will be an interactive upgrade on the original Apple Watch and is predicted to include the same aesthetics.

It will include improved intervals such as a TMSC processor made on the 16nm process. Waterproofing feature should also be upgraded. An analyst of KGI Securities Ming-Chi Kuo has released the news about Apple’s wearables.

A second version, called Apple Watch 2 is also expected to share the similar design as recent models, except for a GPS radio and barometer feature with improved geolocation capabilities. 




The battery will have higher capacity to power the advance gadgets, but the size will restrict Apple’s normal generational device slimming.



Kuo doesn’t expect Apple to modify its wearable products in 2017. It is expected that in year 2017 LTE support for standalone cell phone and data functionality will be happened. 


Moreover, radical design variations should come in 2018 together with improved health applications that are potentially FDA approved.

With Apple’s two devices introductions, Kuo is rising his financial 2016 shipment predictions to between 10 -11 million units, up from between 7 – 7.5 million.
