Samsung Unveils Galaxy Note 7 that Comes with an Amazing Iris Scanner

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will come with an amazing update – an iris scanner that will match pattern in your eyes that is detected by your phone while setting it up.
The iris scanner is an alternative to fingerprint identification that sometimes doesn’t work at all when your fingers are wet. However, the 4-digit password will still work in any case.

“We are expecting from our engineers that they design a security system that is safe and convenient for the users. It took us five years to come up with something that works perfectly, but it only takes a glance to unlock your phone”, said Justin Denison, a senior vice president for product strategy at Samsung.

However, Samsung is not the only one that did it, Microsoft Lumia 950 already had this security system. Beyond that, the updates in the Note 7 will come with more advancements like stronger glass screen and more storage of 64 gigabytes in addition to a slot to add more.

Moreover, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will come with a better camera, though it is the similar one that the smaller Galaxy S7 phone got earlier, save for interface improvements to access settings and switch between the front and back cameras more easily.

Samsung had lost its charm after Apple introduced iPhone 6 and 6 Plus in 2014, but the popularity of the S7 has made it the best phone in terms of financial results in two years. The Note 7 comes a few weeks before Apple is expected to announce new models.

It’s Samsung usual practice that it releases its regular size models in the spring season and large phones in August. But this time Samsung has just released the jumbo model of screen size 5.7 inches. It will have curved edges and will be available in the market in the middle of the August.

Samsung is also releasing an improved virtual-reality headset that has a devoted home button, much broader field of view and black interior to improve viewing. This new gear VR will also be available on 19 August. Keep in mind that a 360-degree camera called Gear 360 have also come out. As phone enhances and advancement slows, VR has been one point in which gadget makers try to tempt users.

Note 7 also comes with stylus that expands on a feature that allows you to magnify text and images by simply hovering the pen over it. By using pen, you can easily create and share GIF animations.

Moreover, the Note 7 also develops a feature to give sensitive files an added security. You need to use iris scanner, fingerprint and passcode to access documents you need to place in Secure Folder. This way, if you are handing your phone to someone else to browse pictures, you are not involuntary giving them access to such confidential files.
